Currently I had an idea, I purchased some mangoes, strawberries, spinach, 100% rolled oats, carrots, peas, and shrimp.
What I did was in some baggies, I prepared some oats, carrots, peas, shrimp, and spinach and put them into the baggies and froze them.
Than, I prepared some mangoes, strawberries, spinach, and oats and froze them in the baggies.
For instance, today is veggie day. Today they get their staple veggies, all you do is take a bag out (be it fruit day or veggie day) and let it set out and thaw. Than dump the leftovers from the night before out, rinse the food bowl, and pour the food that's in the baggies into the food bowl and either re-use the baggie or throw it out.
It's very easy, instead of everyday having to chop up more fruit and such than having the leftovers spoil because they can't eat a whole mango in a night. It lasts much longer and it's very convenient.
I've come to call it "The Frozen Staple Diet".
Now ofcourse you can mix and match, changing out veggies/fruit for others, etc., which I will do once this food runs out.
I just wanted to share my new FSD. ;D
