Debate Ethoxyquin here, is it harmful? Is it safe? What's your opinion?

It is bad because:
1. Ethoxyquin causes cancer. 2. Ethoxyquin is not even allowed in human foods. 3. Ethoxyquin is believed to cause bad molting. However, I haven't found anything to support #3 yet. It needs to be researched more as a chemical, not a bad ingredient.

I've found that Ethoxyquin has caused bad molts. Ever since I stopped feeding ethoxyquin-containing foods I've had many many many successful molts.
Also, I believe that I read somewhere that Ethoxyquin has caused molting problems in Ecuadorians, which leads me to believe they are more sensitive to the effects of Ethoxyquin.
